I have been teaching regular yoga classes since completing my teacher training in Rishikesh, India and am passionate about sharing the multiple benefits that this wonderful practice can have on both our mental and physical health. Over the years I have done additional training in yoga anatomy, yin yoga, and would love to one day go back to India to deepen my knowledge even further.

My playful classes are centred around creating strength and mobility in the body whilst maintaining a deep internal awareness of the breath and how the movements feel. I love combining ancient yogic wisdom with modern scientific developments to help individuals learn more about their minds and bodies, and live in a healthier and more fulfilling way both on and off the mat.

Embarking on my yoga journey and only after a few classes, I quickly became aware of the benefits this practice can bring. Focusing on the present breath, mind, and body, this was (and at times still is) a challenge for me, in which yoga has helped to develop strength, flexibility and peace from within.

With an educational and professional background in sports coaching, sports therapy, and health sciences, I pursued a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga teaching qualification, enabling me to bring the two worlds together. Enjoying the dynamic nature of vinyasa practice, I like to consider poses from an alignment and biomechanical perspective, being aware of the asana (physical body and posture), but also the relationship and significance the mind has in this space.

I have continued to develop my understanding of yoga and teaching practices through CPD activities including, Rocket, Children’s, and Wheel Yoga.

Enjoying the playfulness and creativity yoga can bring, I believe this is a space for everyone, enabling exploration and personal achievement.
